Lead New Jersey Welcomes its 33rd Class in 2019!

Lead New Jersey welcomed its 33rd class of Fellows at their Leadership Retreat on January 24th and 25th in Red Bank.  Comprised of 19 men and 26 women working across New Jersey in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, LNJ's 2019 year is off to an outstanding start with this group of energetic and engaged leaders. Learn more about them through their biographies, see how they fared during SIMSOC and the Airplane Exercise at their Leadership Retreat, and stay tuned for their upcoming experiences as LNJ Fellows.

Lead New Jersey brings together a highly select group of leaders to learn about the cutting edge issues facing New Jersey, link directly with talented leaders working throughout the state, and lead as a champion of their own most cherished ideas and values. LNJ develops well-informed leaders, known as Fellows, who are prepared to cross boundaries across sectors, work effectively with people of all backgrounds, and find common ground with those who may think differently about issues. LNJ's network of more than 1600 Fellows is our state’s most valuable resource for professional connections and community service.

On December 12th, 2018, LNJ had the privilege of former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman joining us at the annual Celebration of Leaders as our 3rd Annual Women's Leadership Speaker. With nearly 150 LNJ Fellows and friends in attendance at the Newark Museum, Gov. Whitman spoke about the importance of civil discourse and challenged us all to appreciate differing points of view and find common ground in order to get to solutions. Visit LNJ Live! to view her remarks, along with an introduction by Jane Kenny, Managing Partner, Whitman Strategy Group, and former Commissioner of New Jersey's Department of Community Affairs.
